  • Provided assistance to 20+ students with assignments, questions, and difficulty understanding Computer Science concepts.
  • Interviewed potential candidates and helped hire new tutors for upcoming semesters.

Computational Thinking Intern

January 2023 - April 2023

  • Co-led weekly lesson plans using Scratch for our third grade students at Goulds.
  • Created lesson plans every week going over material to cover and who does what.
  • Guided students through their own Scratch code using programs that my team and I created.
  • Met every Tuesday with team and class to plan and practice presenting; met every Friday after school with the children in the program, typically between 8-12 students.

Java Workshop Mentor

  • Ensured 40+ students were prepared for summer internship at American Express by going over OOP, APIs, & database management.
  • Created and presented workshops based around Java & PostgreSQL, alongside OOP concepts such as polymorphism & inheritance.
